Best padel rackets under $300

Updated October 19, 2026. Racket lists on this page update daily from our database.

$300 is where padel rackets stop being entry-level. Around this price you find carbon faces, signature models from pro players, and last year's flagships at a discount. Choose by playing style first, then compare prices. This list is for players past their first months; if you're just starting, see the best beginner rackets under $200.

Today, 15 rackets have an in-stock US price of $300 or less, shipping included. 7 of them have a carbon face. 9 are selling below the store's list price.

Pick your style first

The shape decides more about how a racket plays than the price does. Within each group below, rackets are sorted by price, cheapest first. They are not ranked: the right one depends on your weight preference, your arm and your game.

Control: round rackets

Round rackets keep the weight near the hand and the sweet spot in the middle of the face. The easiest to control, and the usual pick for newer players and players who win with placement.

What to compare within a group

  • Weight. A few grams matter less than you'd think; balance matters more. If two rackets are close, take the lighter one when your arm gets tired late in a session.
  • Balance. The higher the figure in millimeters, the more the racket favors power over handling.
  • Core and face. Soft cores and fiberglass are more forgiving and easier on the arm. Hard cores and high-K carbon give control at speed but need good timing.
  • Last year's model. Brands refresh most rackets every year with small changes. The previous version is often the better deal: see is last year's model the better deal?

How we picked

This list is built from our own data, not from paid placements, and we have not play-tested these rackets. A racket is on it when its lowest in-stock price at the US stores we check is $300 or less with US shipping included, from a check in the last 7 days, the brand doesn't rate it for beginners, and we know its shape, level and weight. Up to five rackets per group.

A price with the green shield passed today's full price check. Prices without it are from an earlier check this week and dated. Click through for every store's price and the price history.
